LCMS World Mission -The international outreach of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod focuses on equipping members to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the unchurched throughout the world.  The strength of this ministry resides in the resolve of member churches to support the missions of LCMS both here in the United States and around the globe.  Your efforts to support LCMS missions can make a difference...a world away.

Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen-Trinity's group provides approximately 2,500 meals per year as part of their monthly rotation of serving the truly needy of our community.  As we offer prayer with the clients of the Soup Kitchen and provide them with a hot meal, we thank God for the opportunity He's given us to serve and we realize how blessed we are to be able to feed His sheep as we've been called to do.  If you can help serve lunch 12 times a year, this could be your calling.

Fun in the Son-As the rest of the world moves from a "PG-13" to an "R" rating, isn't is wonderful to know that God's children can still come together from all over the community and have fun in a way that pleases Him?  The mega-event we call Fun in the Son targets children from all over the Twin Cities and delivers the message of God's love for them, along with more fun than they might otherwise have all summer long!  It takes dozens of volunteers like you each year to make an eternity of difference in the life of  hundreds of young ones, many of whom don't know Christ--yet.

Community Christmas-During Advent, we become acutely aware of the need to share the Good News with those who most desperately need to hear it.  Working through area Benton Harbor agencies, we find people in the community who need what we have to offer here at Trinity Lutheran Church .  On the day of this event, the walls of our church become windows. And our celebration with these individuals right here at our own location underscores the real "reason for the season".

Food Baskets-Our Lord has told us that which we do for the "least" of His people, we do also unto him.  Working through area agencies, we come across names of families who may not enjoy all the blessings we frequently do during the holidays.  Trinity goes out into the community to visit with these families in person and deliver food and kindness as we've been commanded to do.  If you can drive--this could be your opportunity.
