SALVATION STATION

On Sunday, February 7 the story is “Jesus calls His first disciples.” The children will learn that as Jesus called these men to serve, Jesus also calls Chance of Meatballs” We will be serving pizza, us to be His children. And when we follow we receive forgiveness, peace and favor with God.

Sunday, February 14 is Transfiguration Sunday and the account of Jesus' Transfiguration is the Bible lesson. In this story God showed us that His Son, Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets. The children will learn the importance of always following Jesus.

The Temptation of Jesus is the lesson on Sunday, February 21. We will learn how Jesus overcame temptation. We will learn how because He was tempted Jesus understands what we go through and how we feel when we are tempted.

Sunday, February 28 the children will hear the story of “Jesus healing the ten men with leprosy.” The children will learn that today Jesus forgives and heals us from our sins.

SALVATION STATION SOUP AND BREAD

Salvation Station will be preparing and serving soup and bread on Wednesday, February 24, at 5:00 pm in the fellowship hall. We invite you to attend the Lenten Service Children's Ministries.

FAMILY MOVIE AND PIZZA

Sunday, February 28 at 5:00 in the Lighthouse Cafe we will be showing the movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". We will be serving pizza, popcorn, pop and desserts. We ask for a minimum donation of $3.00 per person to help cover the cost of the pizza. This is a great family activity and I hope to see you at the movies.

SALVATION STATION PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Sunday, March 14 will be the Salvation Station Pancake Breakfast from 9:00 to 10:30 am in the school cafeteria. So mark your calendars and come enjoy breakfast prepared and served by the leaders and children of Salvation Station.

Ladies Aid

FEBRUARY LADIES AID MEETING will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 7:00 pm, in the Church Fellowship Hall. Our Co-Chairmen, Roberta Goldner, Agnes Lay and their February Committee will HOST our February Meeting. Our Speaker for the night will be our own Josh Wold, Trinity's DCE!. Don't forget February is our MITE NIGHT. Ladies don't forget your Mite Boxes.

MARCH LADIES AID MEETING will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 7:00 pm, in the Church Fellowship Hall. Our Chairman, Ginny Williming and her March Committee will HOST our March Meeting. Our Speaker for the night will be Julie Koch. Julie's topic will be QUILTS. All ladies of Trinity are invited to our meetings.

Also, Our Ladies Aid Quilters would like to give a BIG THANK YOU for all the donations and help we received this past Year! And also, a THANK YOU To Thrivent for their help and support to our Quilters in 2009!

The Ladies Aid Board Meeting will meet Tuesday, February 23, 2010, in the Church Fellowship Hall, at 1:00 pm.

THE BIBLE GROUP

(A Bible Study for everyone ages 25-35). In this fast-paced world where new religious fads come and go, it can be hard to find motivation to keep walking the walk of faith. The Bible Group is a Bible study group designed to keep faith grounded on the solid truth of Jesus Christ, to challenge us to think constructively about the Christian life, and to encourage one another as we walk beside each other as members of our Christian Community.
